Normal service has been resumed.

I'm going to sound very 'Bah Humbug' now, thank the lord we are back to normal life! I do like Christmas but I really can't cope with the chaotic build up and commercialism (I will remind the readers that I am only 34 although I sound like an 80 year old).

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I'm so glad that we are in 2007 and to celebrate I ordered my seeds for the allotment last night (I do know how to live!)
I ended up spending ages poring over seed catalogues trying to work out what to buy. I have now bought all my seeds from three different catalogues.
I wanted to support The Real Seed Company, as I mentioned in an earlier post but I also quite liked the idea of trying different companies to see who offered good service, delivery and so on.
So my list is thus :

The Real Seed Company

Broccoli..............................'Green Heading'
Courgette..........................'Verde di Italia' and 'Pattison Orange'
Leeks................................'Bleu de Solaise'
Squash..............................'Waltham Butternut'
Sweetcorn........................'Double Standard'

Simpsons Seeds

Cabbage.........................'Savoy Best of All' and 'Tundra'
Courgette......................'Tondo di Chiaro di Nizza'
Green Manure.............'Phacelia'
Spinach..........................'Bloomsdale'

Marshalls

Onions...........................'Red Baron' and 'New Fen Globe'
Tomatoes......................'Gardener's delight' and 'Alicante'

Potatoes have yet to be ordered and they are probably going to be from an offer in Gardeners world magazine. I have spent a reasonable amount (not too much) and I'm really excited to get sowing which I know isn't for a while.

It's suddenly crossed my mind that someone out there might actually be reading this and if that is so would you please accept my apologies for the bad spelling, grammar and punctuation!!!!!!! Also if you are reading this and you have loads of useful information, tips, handy hints or you just want to say hi and tell me about you then please do, I'd love to hear from you!
